Writing poems for four years

Writing poems for four years

Writing poems for four years

Writing poems for four years

Glance back far enough

It’s more like most my life

Anyone care to look?

String each word like a bead

My necklaces aren’t

Very beautiful

Care to wear them anyway?

Pressure in fingertips

Restless elbows more days than not

Forces me to leak it here

Care to clean my mess?

Not always knowing

When to stop or keep going

It’s a broken car

Care to keep riding?

A stanza for each year

And this the fifth for next

My mind’s not ending yet

Care to see the rest?
